Kona was a playful pup from the first night we brought her home, and she still is very active and enjoys playing around.
We picked Kona up around 6 pm and she was very calm and took the car ride well. Once home I put her in the front yard, in case she needed to go. She sniffed around and took in her new surroundings. After a few photos were taken we were all ready to head in, my husband and I were eager to see how she would get along with our two miniature Dachshunds, Prince and Duchess. We had no need to worry, our new pup was already about the same size as they were, everyone got along wonderfully together.
Having rested on the way home Kona (not yet named) was ready to have some fun. Duchess the younger of our two Dachshunds was much more excited to meet the pup than Prince was, I think he was wondering if she was going to stay or was a temporary house guest. That night they all played and sniffed till all were ready to sleep, or at least the puppy was.
