Meet the Pups

Its time to Meet the Pups individually now.

We took these pictures today and the pups are now 23 days old. We will go in the order they were born.

First up is little Boy boy.  He arrived at about 6:20 am weighing in at 11 ounces.  At birth he was one of the smaller pups and now weighs in at 3lb 0.4oz.  He is a great little guy so far and loves to check everything out.

Second Born was our little Pink girl.  She was born at 7:40 am and was the heaviest pup at 14.1 ounces. Coming into the world as the biggest pup she is now in the middle of the pack at 2lb 14.3oz.  She is a very sweet girl.  She has now been named Dixie and will be the pup that we are keeping.

Third up was Green boy.  He arrived about at about 8:35 am and weigh 12.4 ounces. Now weighing in at 2lb 8.1oz he is a very adventurous boy and loves to wander away from the rest.

Forth was Black boy and we were then half way home on the deliveries.  He arrived at 8:58 am and weighed 13.1 ounces. He is now 3lb 4.7oz and is a very active, lively pup.  He is sure to be a heart breaker as he gets older and shows more of his unique personality as he grows.

Fifth born was Red boy.  He waited a while to make an appearance and was born at 12:10 pm weighing 13.4 ounces. He is now very active and has become the biggest pup at 3lb 6.8oz.

Sixth up was Orange boy again after a long wait.  He was born at 4:18 and weighed 14 ounces.  Orange is another very sweet boy and we will be watching as more of his personality shows through as he grows.  He is now 2lb 15.1oz.

Seventh is Yellow boy and was actually a tie with eighth as they were delivered by c-section.  At 5pm, number seven was brought out to us at about 5pm and weighed 13.8 ounces. He is now one of the bigger boys at 3lb 4.3oz.  This one is our climber and was the first climb out of the basket and the wading pool we are using.

Eighth is Purple boy and as said above was delivered by c-section and was brought out to us just a couple minutes after Yellow Boy.  He is our runt of the bunch and only weighed 6.7ounces. He has remained much smaller than the others but is now at 1lb 11.7oz.  He may be small but he is very smart, he has unique ways that only a small pup could find to make sure he can get in and nurse with his bigger siblings.  He is also very willing to join in with the others when they are playing together.
