He was one of the last two puppies, delivered by cesarean section, with little Dutch (purple boy) at about 5pm.   If you’ve read our other posts you can see how all the puppies were given different collar colors so that we could tell them apart and also track their weights as they were growing, which is especially important the first couple of weeks to make sure everyone is healthy and growing. He was one of the bigger puppies at 13.8 ounces.  He has since grown into a lively 19 pounds!  But don’t think thats all puppy fat.  He gets daily exercise in the yard and has some good muscles developing.

He has a great personality, loving and very curious!  Jazz (or whatever he gets named, I just figure now that he is getting older he deserved a name instead of just a color designation) is a very intelligent puppy.  He may be the last available pup, but he is awesome!

He is a bit darker in color than most of his litter mates.  Only little orange boy (now named Kodiak) was a darker color, like Jazz, though I think Jazz might be a little darker.  He should grow up to be a beautiful color, a bit darker than his mom.

He has now had two sets of shots and we are starting to work with him on walking on a leash, and will soon hope to have him coming and sitting on command, though it will take time as a puppies attention span is a bit short at this age!  He is learning fast and was definitely doing the best on walking on a leash.  We had Dixie(Our little girl we’re keeping), Jazz and Oliver (green boy, who just got picked up tonight to go to his new home) all trying to walk on a leash, Jazz definitely did the best.

All of our other Pups, excluding our little Dixie, whom we are keeping have now gone to their forever homes.  And this very lovable little boy just needs the right person or family to find him.  Hopefully you can see how good looking he is in these picture and will want to meet him in person!  Contact us, milehighgoldens@gmail.com or call 720-460-1460 if you are looking for an addition to your family, we would love to brag about our little boy.
